Her previous employers were CBS Sports, Fox Sports. As a Pennsylvania born, Kolber received her graduate degree from University of Miami. Her professional life began as a Video Coordinator at CBS Sports, New York City. She won a locally-based Sports Emmy during her tenure at WTVJ-TV situated in Miami. Also, she worked at WPLG-TV in Miami and WPEC-TV which is located in West Palm Beach, Florida. The station was selected as an anchor for ESPN2 in 1993 when it first launched. After three years, she resigned from ESPN2 for Fox Sports. She was recruited in 1999 by ESPN for the show 'Monday night Countdown.'
